Booking the princess meal at auberge today - is there a best time to book?

Hi we went at 1 and we were fine i tried 2 book 12 and couldnt i think most people would suggest 12 though. X

Just guessing here but probably because you'll be given a better seat?

Apparently if you go at the start of lunch service you've got more chance of getting a table by the fireplace where cinderella and prince charming do a dance, but we had a lovely time on a table further away - the princesses still all come to see you :-)

What time did you go? And would you recommend it? I know the food doesn't sound great but hoping the experience is worth it for me and my daughter.

How many tables do they have by the fireplace? And did you see the dance? (Is this something they do often throughout the day?)

We went at 1.15, and well, my DD loved loved loved it! She's 3 and she had the time of her life.

Picture a smallish round dancefloor with tables around the edge - about 10 maybe ?

The dance happens every so often, yes we saw it. Belle came and danced with DD, she was made up :-)

I can't honestly remember the food, no complaints though :confused3

Aww it sounds magical, hope my daughter loves it as much.
We go on Sunday and I haven't booked this restaurant yet, really hoping we can get a reservation for next week, I'm ringing tomorrow.
How long were you there for?
Trying to decide own what day to book this for? Think my daughter will run a mile from the characters at first so wondering if its best on the last couple of days. What did you do?

Well i rang disney to make some restaurant reservations and the earliest time we could get for auberge was 2:30pm so I've booked it - it must be popular and booked up before this time.
She said the princesses are out in the restaurant between 12-4:45pm then they have a break until around 6pm.

Please tell me it'll be ok us going a bit later - we'll have 2hrs 15 mins of the princesses being there, that'll be enough wont it? There's just me and my 3 year old going.

it'll be fine tracy - who knows, if it gets quieter when you are still there your little girl might get more interaction with the Princesses :).

Thanks, that's a really good point! I didn't really want to eat at 12 so it suits me fine as long as the experience is still the same :)
I have also booked inventions and cafe mickey for 7:45-8pm on our other days so thanks for your advice with those also :)

You will have a lovely time!

Most people don't even consider these things, and just have fun lol :)

(and by 2.30 the first lunch guests will be leaving so you might still score a table by the fireplace ... ;))
