If I want to book at our home resort for December 2, 2004 do I book January 2,2004 or do I wait and book the 3rd which will be the checkout date (actually on the 5th since the 3rd is a Saturday)?

Actually our real checkout date is the 9th, but I want to do a day by day reservation, just in case. We will be renting a 2 br lockoff for 4 nights and then a 1 br for the remaining 3 nights. Do you think we have a better chance at not having to move doing it this way? We originally were going to rent a 1 br for 2 nights and then a 2 br for the remaining 5 nights. I think we might have to check in and out if we do it this way. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Thank you. :D

P.S. Are there very many lockoffs at the VWL? I need to request non-smoking for medical reasons and was wondering if the non-dumpster view was the "pool" view? The second request will only be a wish as we are taking family and want them to have a wonderful time. If we do get a dumpster view, so be it, we will still have a good time!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

P.S.S. If I wanted to add a cash ressie would I be able to do this at 11 months out or do I have to wait until closer to the date? Are they even available at this popular time of year at the lodge?

Hi,

If you are booking @ your home resort you have an 11 month booking window from your check out date. So check out is December 3rd, you would call MS Januray 3rd. If it falls on a weekend you will have to wait until Monday. I'm not sure about your other ?, but someone here will!! Good luck & have fun!!!

Cash reservations through member services are not likely to be available at 11 months, but you could ask. Chances are for that time of year they will not be available at all, most DVC resorts sellout for that week. You can also check CRO for non-member inventory.
