Booking Rooms and Dining Q's

Hi Everyone! I hope someone can help me with a 2 questions.


1. CAN I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT DINING PLANS IN 1 RESERVATION?
We have 5 in our party and are sharing a room. Can 3 of us have a Quick Service Plan, and the other 2 have Deluxe Dining? Or do we all have to have the same plan?

2. CAN I ADD FOOD LATER?
If I book a vacation package now, can I add dining later? Or do I have to do it all at once? Can we add a dining plan as late as check in?

No- all people in the same room have to have the same plan
2. CAN I ADD FOOD LATER?
If I book a vacation package now, can I add dining later? Or do I have to do it all at once? Can we add a dining plan as late as check in?
You can add it later- but it needs to be added no later than 72 hours before the check in date

Something you don't seem to be considering is that the credit allotments are not assigned to individuals; they're assigned as a pool to the entire room. You could get the basic DDP and have the 2 who want DxDDP use all the TS credits and the 3 who want QSDP use all the CS credits and then share the snack credits. Everybody could then also supplement with OOP snacks and buy refillable mugs OOP. Or you could keep it simple and everybody just buys what they want when they want and skip dining plans completely.

Keep in mind though that on the regular DDP you do not get an appetizer with your meal however with the DX DDP you do. And you only get one snack per person on the regular DDP you get 2 per person on the QSDP and the DX DDP. So in reality splitting the Regular DDP is the like getting the worst of both
