Booking rental car through Allegiant or Villadirect and other questions...?

Has anyone ever booke their rental car through Villadirect? Or allegiant? do you save money? also through the rental companies what car would you be getting in compant, intermediate, full size, etc? Also does dollar put a huge credit hold on your credit card?

With Allegiant I really don't feel like I would save money on a car. The prices listed do not include taxes and such. You pay those when you pick up the car. Only did that once, never again.
If you rent through Dollar you don't pay or give your Credit Card number until you pick up the car.

on the dollar I mean when you pickup and pay do they make you do a deposit on your card? So far I've found the best rates through them.....

I have not booked car with Allegiant but I got a bette rate thru Budget. Try going to www.carrentalsavers.com they have alot of coupons and you can see the types of cars with each company. Best of luck

You can book from that sight direct or you can get coupon codes and apply them by going to the rental car companies website directly. Carrentalsavers books thru the car company to. If you need a minivan code I have a good code for that thru budget. BCD code X474200 and coupon code MUGZ029 for $30 off. The BCD is a public travelocity code so anyone can use it and the coupon is for anyone as well nothing special needed at the rental desk. Hope that helps.
