:confused3 We want to go on the 7 day Magic cruise May of 2006. We are going on a 7day Magic cruise in January of 2006. We usually have booked onboard to get the savings. But I doubt I will be able to get the room I want and the early seating I want if I wait to book onboard in January. I was wondering if we could book the May cruise now and when we get onboard in January, talk to the agent onboard to transfer it to get the 10% off and 200 dollars credit onboard. thanks for any help

We are on May 20 2006 :cool1: Maybe we will cross paths. Good luck with your booking. :wizard:

No, they won't change an existing ressie to give you the 10% off. However, you can book now. Then, when you are on board, you can check the prices and IF it is the same price or cheaper, re-book while on board. As soon as you are home, cancel your first reservation (if you are still within the full refund time).

The only downside to this is that you need to be able to tie up the deposit amount for a month or so until they manage to get your refund sent to you.

On the positive side, early booking savings are better the farther out you book...so booking now might give you a better rate than you can get while on board in January, even with the discount. Best bet...book it now. If you can get a better deal on board, book then too and cancel previous. If you can't get a better deal on board, you still have your first ressie.

You may be able to get a comparable discount by booking through one certain moderator who arranges group rate bookings. I believe there is still availability on the May 6 Western.
