Okay cruisers I need your help. Just back from Disneyworld on the July 10 and now what to start planning are next cruise for July or Aug 2005. We have been on the cruise twice 4-day in 2000 and 7-day eastern in 2001. I came to find the broads about 9 months age and they were great on helping me plan my disney vacation. I saved so much money with all the help. So now I need help with the cruise.
1. When can I book the cruise and where on the Web site or somewhere else
2. When is it going to be better to go July or August
3. What category do you guys prefer
Its going to be 4 of us my DH, DD13. DS7, and myself

Thank you in advance

When we were looking to book, I got a quote from allseasons travel, cruise.com, AAA and DCL. Someone here recommended cruiseplanners at www.micdan.com, and Dana was able to beat everyone's quote. I recommend getting quotes from a few places and then decide.

I had checked with costco, allseastravel.com and micdan.com.
Dana, micdan.com, and I played phone tag for two weeks. I was irritated with her, that I asked several times for a quote, since we weren't catching each other to leave the info in email or voicemail. and she just kept leaving a call back number, though she was nice, I just would have like to have heard the actual price. Since she wasn't leaving me a price, I assumed that she couldn't beat what I had told her I was getting with allseastravel.com

I highly recommend allseastravel.com I had spoken with Keith or Kathy and both were extremely helpful. Even after I booked and paid, I asked for arrangements to go ahead and fly in the night before and stay at the Airport Hyatt and Kathy was able to set me up. :teeth:

I keep reading the cruise report at travelrap.com and I learn something new every time I read it.

Also, I ordered the Passporter Field Guide to the DCL, and it is amazing, I am glad I spent the money on it.

Good luck! :teeth: :teeth:

I just went to allseastravel website. They stated that soon staterooms for 4 will not be able to be booked. Why is this what are family of 4 to do.

I am also in the early stages of booking a 2005 cruise I contacted DU the sponser of this board and except for a little e-mail problem on my part michelle has been great and answering all my questions. She even sent in a request to inventory control for me so that when the rates come out I can try and get the specific room and dates that i want. with this when the rates do come out, I can simply choose whether to book at that time or walk away with no penalty.

We love Dana at micdan.com, never had to play phone tag...she gave us quote asap, we booked, she gave us room number, answered all questions....explained options on travel insurance, and told us to call back anytime with any questions. Great hours for calling also....8am to 10pm 7 days a week.

Also, she has been on all the disney cruises, numerous times, that really helps when answering questions.

When booking through allseas....agent was rushed, had never been on disney cruise, wasn't in the mood for answering questions...and once I put deposit down...couldn't get her on the phone to save my life. We cancelled.
