Booking Package questions

So everyone seems to be waiting for package rates to come out. I called to book and can book a basic package and the room only rates for 2011 are available. The CM said I can buy MYW tix b/c they don't expire until 14 days after use and they will be at the current price. Pretty sure we are not adding dining. I don't even know how much the dining plan is.

Here are my questions: (I know they will seem pretty stupid but I'm asking anyway!)

What is the benefit of me waiting for the package rates to come out vs. booking basic package now, w/ room only with MYW tix @ current prices?

Will it be cheaper to wait for the 2011 packages to be released? Not sure if packages are cheaper.

When they are released, will they include all of 2011 or just the first half of the year?

We are thinking of going either June or August of 2011. When will codes and/or special promos, public or other, be released for June or August. How far in advance are codes released ahead of the the time frame they can be applied.

Will it be cheaper to wait for the 2011 packages to be released? Not sure if packages are cheaper. Packages usually aren't cheaper but they are the only way to get one of the dining packages. To utilize one of the dining package you must purchase a package all together (room, tickets, and dining)

Packages for 2011 will include the same priced tickets for all of 2011. Packages aren't affected by any increase in ticket prices in August or whenever they may happen in the same calendar year you are traveling. This only applies for WDTC Packages at Disney owned and operated Resorts.
