Ok, I am not sure what to do here. We want to go on the 11 night. We are on the repo in 2 weeks. Should we book now or wait until we get on board. I ma afraid if we wait the price will hike like it did on the repos. But if it doesn't then we lose the 10% and the stateroom credit.

If it is the same price, can we "cancel" and move that deposit to the new reservation?????

When you rebook on-board, you'll be charged the prevailing rates at the time of the booking.

I'd say your best bet would be to go ahead and book your 11-day NOW. Then when you get onboard, you can see which is the better deal... keep the reservation you make today, or pay the prevailing rate once onboard with 10% discount.

Of course it's also possible that they might not be offering the 10% for those cruises. The last time I was rebooking on board, the 10% and $200 credit were only valid for 7-day cruises. I don't recall the specific detail, but it seemed like if you rebooked for a 3 or 4 day cruise, you could get the 10% but you wouldn't get the $200 credit. Or I might be wrong and you couldn't get any discount on a 3/4 day cruise. Basically, my point is that you can't make any assumptions on what sort of discounts you will get with rebooking onboard.

Go ahead and book it now. The onboard rep can see if it's worthwhile to rebook it when you're on your cruise.

In my case, she compared the price of the 12/9/06 cruise that I had booked months prior to the current price. It wasn't worth rebooking it at the prevailing rate, even with the 10% and SBC.

They'll work with you if it's to your advantage to use the onboard offer. :flower:

They way these cruises are filling up I would book now. The price goes up as the number of rooms booked increases.
