Another one sorry :headache:

We want to book Auberge for lunch for my DD1 and I'm thinking the second day (we arrive tea time on Sun but by the time we get to Disney etc it will be fairly late). So I was thinking of booking the meal on the Tues. Do you think this is wise - had considered doing it the first day but I think DD1 will be so overwhelmed - maybe better to let her have the first day just sightseeing etc. We also want to do Cafe Mickey character meal - was thinking of doing this on the Thurs - our last day, but our flight is 16.40 (check in opens 14.40), would we have enough time to do a Cafe Mickey lunch if we got there for when it opens (is this 11.45 am btw - do the characters arrive at 12.15?). We'd also like to fit in Agrabah (if it's open midweek when we go?) and Annettes but I'm hoping we can just turn up to those - would this be a problem - hoping it will be fairly quiet when we go? I don't want to book too many meals as with an almost 5 mth old and a 3.5 year old you have to be fairly flexible :rotfl:

We are staying (at the moment) at Marriott Vacation Club so would have a hire car so would travel back to CDG airport in that so I suppose that makes the transport a little quicker maybe?

However, we are considering staying onsite (possibly) and therefore would need to take public transport back to CDG. I've never looked into this so not sure how long to leave for travel etc? This would clearly affect a lunch Cafe Mickey booking on the Thurs?

Thanks for any advice/tips. :flower3:

I would say definitly leave Aubrge til the 2nd day rather than overwhelm DD too much

Also you need to allow a least an hour in Cafe Mickey perhaps more

remember you dont have to pay in advance for any meals so if you reserve and then dont go you are not losing anything

You cant book for Annettes anyhow so just need to turn up. Agrabah was really quiet when we went so again you may be fine just turning up or booking on the day

If you end up staying onsite, the most convenient way for you, with such young children, to make the journey from DLRP to CDG would be by private shuttle (ie rs transport, of any of the shuttle services mentioned in the very useful info thread on this site).

It takes around 40 minutes for the journey by private shuttle.
Its an hour if you take the VEA shuttle, and although its only 10 minutes on the TGV train, you have to factor in that you'll have baby, pushchair, and luggage to move between the platform you arrive at CDG (at terminal 2) to whichever terminal and gate you need for checking in for your flight.

Thanks Elaine - DD2 is getting hungrier by the day so I'm starting to think she'll be on solids (just) by the time we go so it probably will be the Marriott...
