Booking for a friend

We have been members since 1993 and have book reservations for many friends and family in the past.

I have not given a reservation to anyone since the My Disney Experience or Fast Pass Plus has been in around.


I have a few questions:

1) Can my friend create a My Disney Account before I have the reservation?


2) Do we need to wait until we have a confirmation Number to create it?


3) After I book the trip, do I just have my friend add the confirmation number to his My Disney Account?


4) Once we have the My Disney Experience Account created, and the confirmation number added, can he then book Dining and Fast Passes when the proper time comes along?

I don't need to do it, do I?


5) Would he book Magical Express or do I do that?


Giving a trip to someone isn't just as easy as it use to be.

1, 3 and 4 are "yes" (I think).

Booking fastpasses will require them to get their tickets in advance.

Not sure about DME.

You will need to arrange DME for them. Once you have their flight information you can either call MS or use the DME web form on the member website.

You don't have to wait for the confirmation number to set up a MDE account. Anyone can do that at any time.
