Booking for a friend and need advice

Hi,I am sure this has been brought up about a billion times but I can't find a thread on it. So here is my question....

My friend wants to go at the end of October and really wants me to plan, book, etc her trip. If I make room ressies now and a code comes out how do I handle that? Do I cancel reservations and make new ones or will they apply the code if I call and request it?
In the past has free dining been during that time too? (October 25-28)
AND if she chooses the dining plan do I have to make dinner ressies when I make the room ressies?

If you book now and a code come out you can call and get it applied (based on availability, just because you have a room does not guarantee the code is available on that particular resort/room type)

Free dining traditionally has ended by the first week in October

Dining reservations can be made at 180 days out or anytime there after, so you still have a month before you can do dining
