Booking for 40 person Grand Gathering group

Has anyone booked restaurant reservations for a group this size (40)? Is there anything I need to know? Our 180 day mark is tomorrow. I hope we can get what we want. The CM at the GG phone # told me just to call the regular dining # to make these reservations. Thanks!!

What restaurants are you trying to book? I have only ever done 20 people, and that was pretty tough.

You are right it is difficult booking - I have been on hold for 2 hours to book Tony's for Breakfast. It took five calls to get the Grand Gathering number - once they had all our info I got that number within 2 hours.

The CM who is helping me said it would take time.

I am going to also try to book a large group (20). We'll be purchasing the dining plan. I've decided we will only try to do meals that we don't order.
Chef Mickeys, O'Hanas, Biergarten, Hoop de Do, etc.
So I take it I should just call and request the Grand Gathering Line?
What is the grand gathering phone number?
