Booking for 2007

We just got back on Saturday. After a HUGE Disney withdrawal (I was actually crying yesterday - what is WRONG with me?? ) I realized that the only way I am going to get back to my normal self is to plan another trip. So why won't the Disney website let me book a room for May of 2007? I'm ready to fork over a deposit for the Poly this time! Don't they want more of my hard-earned disposable income? Why can't I book it???

Right now you cannot book any dates for 2007 on the Disney website.

I am guessing this won't be possible until the 2007 package rates are released... probably toward the end of June or so if you go by the posts on other threads.

There are probably a couple of reasons the website does not allow for 2007 bookings yet...

- if they wait until the 2007 package rates are out then the website only need to be updated once.

- less confusion if room only rates are available and packages are not. It is better to have them all appear at the same time.

You can always call Disney directly and place a room only reservation since those rates are now out for 2007.

I booked for Easter 2007-and she said I can book the package when it comes out. She told me it probably won't be till October-

I booked "room only" for May 30- June 7, 2007 back in early February. I will change to a package as soon as Disney releases them. Just call Disney if you want to book now for '07!!! I booked with my wonderful AAA agent. From everything that I've read here on the DIS and from my AAA agent the '07 packages are supposed to be released at the end of June. They were last year so hopefully they will be this year as well.
