Booking first dvc trip tomorrow. Question

Tommorow I’m able to book first trip at 11 months.
I’m going to book two studios. I was told best to put my name on one then my wife’s on the other as we haven’t officially decided who were taking as guests. So question is do I need to list all occupants at booking or just name on each reservation?

also doesn’t seem to be too hard to get park reservations except for the 50th or Christmas. So I assume no hurry to buy tickets. Do u buy them thru Disney or undercover tourist?

last question. Once we decide what friends we will take for second room, is it best to switch all names of that Reservation to the other family? Will that make it easier for MDE app?

Just name on each reservation. You can add occupants later.

You can buy tickets whereever.

You don't need names to place and hold the reservation. You will need names to link to MDE and for purposes like park reservations (if resort guest vs general ticket matters by then). But for next June you have months before any of that matters.

As others have said, just put one owner's name on one villa and then book the other under the other owner's name. Once you've decided who's coming and everyone who will be in each room, you'll need to notify MS via email, chat or calling to change the name of the lead guest on the other family's room. You can enter the remaining guests for each room online via the Modify function.
