Booking DVC with RCI Points

This is driving me nuts and I'm hoping someone here can help. Is anyone else an RCI points member who has used points to reserve with DVC? How does this work? Every time I log in I can't see any Disney properties, yet I've seen other posts where RCI members can see DVC inventory. Help! Please

I am not, but just from reading the board, my understanding is that you have to be sure you have enough points to trade in to Disney.

If you do, then it would mean there is simple nothing yet in the system.

you might do better as a member of TUG (assuming 1) you have enough pts, 2) your resort is not located near orlando and 3) you are looking far enough out - typically 6-8 months out IIRC). when disney makes villas available for trade through RCI, TUG typically posts those deposits on their member's sightings board.
