Does anyone have any experience or advice regarding booking Disneyland Paris with DVC Points? My friend & I are going to be doing the WBTA on the Magic and plan to visit DLP prior to the cruise. It's still over a year away but The DVC website seriously lacks much info. Of course they have yet to post the 2014 Points charts for DLP. The only thing I have found is you can't book more than 6 months in advance. I figured I'd use some of my DVC points to book one of the hotels there for 3 nights. I thought they used to include admission tickets if you booked on points but don't know if they still do that. Also looking at booking directly through DLP it seems breakfast is included with the hotel stay and I wonder if this holds true for stays booked using DVC points.

I am booking 3 nights at DLP in Jan so I have just been waiting for the points chart for 2014 to come out. I spoke with MS several weeks ago and yes you can't book more than 6 months, it is a minimum of 2 days when booking, And the reservation included breakfast every morning. Tickets are not included anymore, but you can book a length of stay pass when you do the reservation, but not required. If you book the DLP hotel you get an extra fastpass for each day you are there.

Some folks on here will tell you it is a "waste" of your points to use for the the dsney collection hotels but I say use your membership how YOU want to. I have no time or patience to rent my points to then pay cash for a reservation I can just pick up the phone, pay $95 and book. I bought DVC for life, not to analyze a cost comparison.

Rather than buying tickets for 4 days, consider buying an annual pass instead.
The price for a 4 days/2 parks ticket is 169 euro (based on the current offer "pay 3 get 4 days"), that is exactly the same price of a Fantasy annual pass. If your visit is outside the blockout dates, it's much better. An AP gives you discounts on merchandise (10% for the Fantasy, 20% for the Dream) and food (10% on counter service).
There is just the minor hassle of the getting the passport itself (they take a picture and register your data).

If you are a family of 5, there's a 20% discount.

I had heardbut it may be wrong that disney are prescriptive about making you buy a length of stay pass for every guest when booking DLP through DVC check that out frist because it can make it very expensive.

I'm using DVC points to stay at DLP this summer prior to our Med cruise. I was given the option to purchase park passes - it is no longer required. The rate that MS offered was considerably lower than anywhere else I had seen. I beleive that I paid $189USD for a six day pass.

This is correct. The length of stay pass is no longer required when booking DLP with points. It is optional, which is great because one of the people going with us works at hollywood studios and has a pass good for DLP already
