:flower3: Hi Everyone!!

Who do you go through when booking your trips? Does anyone go through the actual Disney Website? Any pointers I'll take. I booked with a complimentary 14 day hold w/out a credit card until we officially made up our mind through the website. But if any of you get better deals else where, I'll appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance. We are planning a trip in May and are staying at the CBR.:yay: WHOOOO HOOOOOO give me some scoop.:surfweb:

We are DVC members so we usually book everything thru DVC when we make our ressies, however we did pay cash on our trip last September (to take advantage of the free dining promo) and we booked thru the Dis sponsor Dreams Unlimited. I had no complaints and thought our agent, Sue, was very helpful. She made ADR's for us and sent us a spreadsheet w/our trip plans on it. I would recommend them.

You might also look at www.mousesavers.com and sign up for the free monthly newsletter too, which comes out on the 15th of every month I believe. You can see special deals on the newsletter that are not posted on the website.

I book thru AAA. My TA says I'm better informed about Disney than she is. We chuckled when she booked me for Feb and was told by whoever she was booking with there were changes to DDp . She said I know and she's the 1 who told me!!!

My fiance and I booked our honeymoon through "sally" with explore the magic vacations.
The website is explorethemagic.com

She was sooo helpful and the price was slightly under disney rates. She booked a specific section for us and noted it was our honeymoon to ensure special treatment!!
Hope this helps!!

We just booked through Marion at Small World Vacations (www.wdwvactions.com) for the third time.

We have not been disappointed. She helps even with our super last minute ADR changes! :cheer2:

We recommend them to everyone...they don't always listen, but we try!

We have booked our trips directly though Disney and have had no complaints what so ever. We even have noticed that their customer service is getting better for the most part.

But to be honest, my standard recommendation is to shop around. Just make sure you are comparing apples to apples when comparing prices, including what is in the package and including taxes.

This upcoming trip is the second trip that I've planned and
booked directly thru WDTravel Comany.
It is SO VERY EASY to do, I am surprised everybody doesn't
do it.
It takes just as much time to book thru WDTC as it does
thru a TA. Plus you don't have to pay any commisions and you know
all of the details right away instead of having to wait to
hear from the TA.
WDTC will send all of your paperwork directly to your address.

You just have to put a $200.00 deposit on your package
and the total has to be paid in full 14 days before your trip,
if you have a package.
You can either make monthly payments or pay it in one lump sum.

I educated myself on how much everything would cost by going
to Disney.com and using their Vacation planning calulator so that I
would know what I was in for.

I am not a very experianced Traveler
and did not know all the ins and outs of planning a trip but
it was surprisingly very easy.
I know you can do it, if I can.:thumbsup2

...and the total has to be paid in full 14 days before your trip...
Respectfully, are you sure about the final payment deadline? Every trip I have ever done through Disney needed it to paid for 45 days before arrival.

Thanks for the correction,:flower3: it was 45 days before arrival.
I'm not sure why 14 days popped in my head?
At least whenever I was booking my trip I was informed
by WDTC of all of this deadline so I know whenever the exact date
for payoff and marked it on my calendar. :hourglass

This coming trip is the 3rd that I've booked with disney direct - I just call them, each time they have gotten me EXCELLENT deals/discounts - :cool1:

I book directly with Disney as well. The website is easy to use and I like the fact that I don't need to talk to anyone. I feel that I've gotten good rates.

The reason why I don't book through a 3rd party is because their websites confuse me and I don't like having to ask for quotes when I can just get that myself off the Disney website. :upsidedow
