booking costs?

I have a good friend that is a CM and they will be reserving a room for me in the beginning of September for 6 nights. What is it that Disney will need for cash? Do they require a deposit? Do you pay the entire cost when you checkout? Only reason why I'm asking is because I need to buy the airline tickets asap and that'll shorten my budget until my next paycheck, but I also want to be available to reserve the rooms asap. Thank you!

If it is a room only reservation you will need 1 nights rate for a deposit. With the balance due at check in (not check out)

If it is a package reservation (room, tickets and maybe dining) you will need a $200.00 deposit. With the balance due 45 days before arrival.

That is unless things are different because your CM friend is making the reservation - doesn't your friend know what will be needed?

CM reservations are usually room only.

In which case the one nights deposit is all you need right up till check-in.
