I'm looking for a hotel for a couple nights next week. (This isn't a Disney or Orlando hotel.) Booking.com has a much better price than any other site I've found. I was tempted to book, but decided it wasn't worth the risk. Being the glutton for punishment that I am, that didn't stop me from returning to the site to check again. The listing now says Partner Offer, which further piqued my interest. I've never seen that on their site. Do any of you know what that means? Is it legit price?

FWIW, I've left the site & returned several times today & the price hasn't changed.

booking.com is a legit site. I do not know what partner offer refers to, but as long as I understood any policies (cxl, prepay, etc) I wouldn't hesitate to book through them

I've booked through them many times & agree they're a legit site. The hotels I've booked through them have always been similar in price to other sites though. I'm afraid this is an error & they'll cancel our reservation or charge us the higher price.

Can always call the hotel and ask if they’ll price match.

I always book direct but that is because I am trying to either use or maintain the status I have with the hotel/car rental/airline/etc. Third party bookings don't get credit towards earning/maintaining status or allow the use of the status already obtained.

The savings would need to be significant before I booked with a third party.

As long as you think the savings are worth it, go for it.
