My sister recently bought into DVC with her home resort being BLT. She has made me an Associate.:goodvibes We have 2 trips planned for 2012, one in January and one in September.
What are our chances on getting a 1bdrm BWV (Boardwalk View) for a week in September at the 7 month window period? Or should we book her home resort 11 months out and then switch to BWV at the 7 month window? :confused3
Dates tentativly are Sept. 8-15 BWV and 15-20, OKW.

I have read that getting into BWV can be difficult so that is why I am asking.:worried:

:thanks:

Always book your home resort, just in case. But for September if you call exactly at 7 months out, I think you will be ok on getting a one bedroom, the view might be more difficult.

Definitely book BLT at 11 months since it is a way more difficult ressie to get. THen at 7 months, call right away and your chances are good. If not, you can always ask to be put on waiting list for BWV at that time as well.... for some reason I have had good luck with waiting lists, although I tens to book split ressie trips so my waitlist ressies are usually only 3-4 days each so it's easier to fill request :)

BW view rooms go quickly but mid September is one of the easiest times to book, so I think you may well get a BW view room if you call right at 7 months. Booking BLT and switching is a good idea, just in case, as long as you still have time to bank any points if the BW room requires fewer points than BLT. Good luck!

I got a 2 bedroom Bw view room at the 7 month mark for August this year so it is possible. I called right at the 7 month window, but not until about noon and was happy I could still get it.

I did book BLT, my home resort, at 11 months, just in case.
