When looking at prices for my dates on Bonnet Creek site, it was app $230 per night when I selected the 2 bedroom option, then when I clicked book, the price jumped to $323 per night, which over 2 weeks, adds up. Why would this be?
Are you on the Wyndham site? You shouldn't book WBC directly with Wyndham. You can get a good deal from one of the many brokers listed in the "We Love Bonnet Creek" thread. Probably for well less than half what Wyndham is quoting.
Get quotes from several renters and go with the cheapest that has good feedback. Depending on their inventory, different renters will ask different prices for the same week. I'd get quotes from Vacation Strategy, Vacation Upgrades, Farrell's Vacations, and then several renters on myresortnetwork.com and ebay.
This past May we went with Vacation Strategies and paid $89.50 per night for a one bedroom. When I was requesting quotes for my Sept and Dec trips, I requested quotes from several different renters for both dates at the same time, thinking that maybe we'd get a discount if we booked two trips at once. I was surprised at the difference in prices. Shelby Resorts was cheapest for the Sept trip, but Aaron Washburn was significantly cheaper than everyone for the Dec trip. Just FYI: he offered us a one bedroom for $60.00 per night or a two bedroom for just $70.00 per night in Dec, but his prices were higher than Shelby's for Sept. No way would I book directly through Wyndham Bonnet Creek and pay their high prices, when you can get the same condo for about 1/4 through a third party.
