Booking at SSR then changing to OKW

Heres my problem. I want to make sure that I have a place to stay Oct. 26-31st so I'm going to book 2 2BR at SSR(290pt) before the 7 month window. I really would like to stay at OKW, BVW(standard) or AKV(value) because it will only be 240 points and we have 262 for next year and won't need to borrow. What I want to know is if I use all my 262 pt and borrow the rest 28 to book at SSR then I'm able to book at one of the other resorts will the points go back to there use year and will I be able to bank them or do I have to use them in this use year. I'm sure that this is confusing what I'm asking because I'm confused to. I just don't want to loss an points and I won't be taking any more trips in that use year. Also, should I risk booking day by day and canceling day by day at SSR or should I just wait until March 31st and try to book all at once. I really don't want a split stay. Sorry if this is so confusing and thanks to those that read this and help me out.

I would just wait and book OKW at the 7 month window. You are only about a week and a half away from there already or book all but one night at SSR and then start switching to OKW at the 7 month window. That way you will not have to borrow any points and if the last night is not available waitlist for it and it should come through with no problems that far out. I don't think you will have a problem with those dates for OKW but you can always call and ask MS before you make any decisions.
