Hi,

I'm still waiting for my refund from Virgin for the trip I had planned to WDW. I have decided to take my DS to DLRP instead as we can go on the train, we really, really hate flying we realised! We want to go in July and until I got the refund I can't really afford to pay the full amount up front. I read somewhere that if I phone DLRP direct to make the booking they only take a 10% deposit. Can someone confirm this and do I use the contact number on the booking page or is there another hidden somewhere else on the site?

Thanks:confused3

That's correct, 10% deposit and the rest is due 60 days before you're due to go. The booking number is very hard to find actually, but I'll try to get a hold of it.

Hi

This is the number we used 0844 8 008 898 and your correct 10% down and the rest later. I think it is 60 days before you travel the rest comes out but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Steve

Yes it is pay the balance 60 days before date of travel. You can have them take the balance off a credit card automatically when it is due. Otherwise you have to remember to phone up to pay the balance as you are not given any reminders.
We've always taken the automatic option as I'd hate to find out to late that we had lost our deposit and the holiday because of this :sad2:

Thanks for your help.
I've now booked us a 6night/7day break in July (that's when DS wanted to go). I got a little excited when they they started to play Disney music while I was waiting, I can't wait now. I just need to make sure I don't spend the money before I pay the balance!
Now to make lunch!
:cheer2:

Great news. What are your dates and where are you staying :goodvibes

We are going on 13th July for 6 nights and my son wanted to stay at the hotel Santa Fe, because it has a mexican theme!? Still we probably won't spend too much time in the room as we want to make the most of this trip, not sure when we will be able to persuade DH that we need to go again! I just hope I get the money back I've been promised by Virgin Holidays as they seem to be a bit slow about sorting it out. At least now I can look forward to our trip to DLRP even if it is a few months after my son's 18th buffday I'm sure I will still spoil him (he's really still a little kid at heart).

Haha I think these boards prove...we're ALL little kids at heart! :yay:

Maybe...I'll be the slightly mad looking mother jumping around every time I see Eeyore, with a very tall 18 year old son in tow. He may be 6 foot and 18, well by then, but he can't wait to see anything to do with Stitch!!

Now back to the important things like making the buffday cake.
