I am planning on a 4 or 5 night trip next October. I have an August UY. I will be using 2010 points.

If I book at the 11 month window but need to cancel....those points will go back into current year points correct? And I would have until March (1st or 31st) of 2011 to bank them....correct?

Trying to get my ducks in a row....not sure exactly which weekend we will go...

Yes, 2010 points would go back into your account as normal assuming you cancel 31 days or more before arrival. Your banking deadline would be March 31.

Yes, that is what happens. That is one of the benefits about traveling in those first few months of your UY. You can be a little more unsure of reservations at the 11 month window since you don't have to worry about the points.
