Booking adr's with a split stay

I am getting ready to book my adr's in a few days. We are doing a split stay this time unless my waitlist goes through. I remember last year there was some difficulty booking adr's with split stays. I have not read anything here about that lately. I have 5 nights booked at AK and then 5 nights at SSR so I have two different conf numbers. Will I be able to book all 10 days of adr's online the morning my window opens or will I only be able to book 5 days? If I can't do it online should I be able to do it when I call at 7am? Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a split stay and was able to book my whole trip from my first reservation! you should have no trouble booking!

I have a split stay in Sept; 4 days in BCV and than 3 days in Bay Lake Towers. When I called at the 180 day mark I was only able to reserve the first 4 days. She tried to do the other 3 but the computer would not let her. So I had to call back in 4 days at the 180 day mark for those 3 days. it was no problem and I was still able to get the ADR's that I wanted.

That makes me worried since I am going Thanksgiving week!

If it makes any difference - I made my reservations online. Maybe it is a limitation on the phone? I definitely made reservations for 10 days based on the first night - and that reservation was only for 3 days.

I was, however, able to make a fireworks cruise reservation at 180+ 10 on the first reservation. The first ressie was only three days but the fireworks cruise was on day 5. So maybe it depends on who you talk to when you call.

Really? You can do fireworks cruise rental at 180 +10 days? I want to do an Illuminations cruise with extended family in December and I already told them it may be difficult to get. If I have an advantage over those not staying on Disney property, maybe I have a good shot at it!

I was able to do a fireworks cruise using 180+ 10 date. I was also surprised by this but it was a CM that told me about when I called a few weeks in advance of my 180+10 date just to get some info. It worked the same way as calling in for dining reservations and I got the cruise I wanted.

thanks for all of the responses. Anyone else successful booking all 10 days on a split stay? How about Fantasmic packages? I was going to try to book one for our last night so it would be during the second half of the split stay. Thanks again!

I was not permitted to make all my dining reservations for an 8 day split stay. I had to do the first four days and then at 180 days from the second check in I did the last four days.

Did you schedule your dining online or by phone? I wonder if that is the difference? I wonder why is works for some but not for others?
