We are looking at booking one or two meals this trip that require payment in advance ie. Spirit of Aloha Dinner show and CRT.

Since we are going to be using Dining Credits to pay for the meal how does this work.

I expect I will still have to give a credit card # in case we don't show up, but I wasn't sure if they would charge the card and then refund it when we use credits or just keep the card # on file.

Thanks

They shouldn't charge your card. Like you said, they just use the card in case you don't show up. There might be a $0.01 charge on it when they verify that the card is valid.

How sure of this are you? I know we had to put down a credit card hold on a couple of dinners, but I thought CRT you actually had to pay in advance. If anyone knows for sure, I'd love to know because I'd really like to make a CRT ADR.

ADR's requiring pre-payment by CC:

For those on the DDP: CC# is required to hold the ressie however, you will not be charged...that is, unless you are a no-show or fail to cancel the ressie within the canc period.

For those not on the DDP: CC will be charged for pre-payment.

I have made several of these ADR's (CRT, BD, PSB, etc.) while on the DP and never once was charged a $0.01 to my cc.
