Just a quick question, getting ready to do ADRs in a few days. We are traveling with my parents and our two children. Our resort reservations are booked separately (theirs are under their last name and cc, ours are under our names) but we plan to eat together for most meals. So I should just use my login and book an ADR for all of us together right? It will show that we have lots of people (more than on our reservation) so will it allow me to book for six people instead of four?

This is the first time my parents have done vacation with us

You should have no problems booking the table for more than just your room. Looks like you know about adding in your son to the ADR's.

I went with my neighbours and some TS we ate together and others we did not.

If you want to book two different TS for the same meal at different places, book one with your parent's information. Some people have posted in the past that if you have 2 reservations at different restaurants on the same day for dinner that they cancel one, by booking one of the ADR's with your parents information, it won't look like you double booked.

Did you have your confirmation #'s linked? They will try and put your rooms next to each other if you do.

Thank you for your response. That makes sense.

I'm not sure if our confirmation numbers are linked. How would I check that? I made both of the reservations so I have the password/access to log in to both if there is something I need to do. I think that when I made the reservations I requested adjoining rooms.

i had the same question!..good to know i can make the reservations for all of us together!

The dining reservation system doesn't know or care how many persons are on your room reservation. You can book a restaurant reservation for as many guests as you want.

You may want to call back and request connecting rooms. Adjoining rooms are just next to each other. Connecting rooms have a door inside the room into the other room.

They may have already linked your room if you requested adjoining rooms.

Great question I am in the same situation. Another question if any one can tell me. We will be spliting up one night and my kids will be going to dinner on their own one night as they are old enough and my husband and I will be going on our own can I make 2 seperate reservations at around the same time at different restaurants. I will also being making a reservation for my in-laws but I will use their information.

You can. If you book online it will tell you that you already have a reservation for that time period (double booked). Since you really aren't double booked just go ahead and tell it to continue.

I would just make sure that each party has their confirmation #, incase some CM decided to cancel one of the reservations (very rare).
