I have Dec use year. How can I book a day or 2 at end of Nov. and the first week of Dec? Also, want to use banked points for the Nov day.
Has anyone done this?

You have to book this as 2 separate reservations, with no guarantee that you will remain in the same room.

Contact member service after you make the two seperate reservations (via chat, email or call) and have them note that it is a continuing reservation. Assuming the reservatins are for the same room type and class, you usually will not have to move. But there are no guarantees. Also contact someone at the resort front desk the morning of check-out from your first reservaton and remind them.

You will have to make 2 separate reservations. Once that is done, call MS or use chat to have the reservation MERGED. Yes, you can get it merged as I did that for my trip Jan 31-Feb 5 with my Feb UY contracts.

This! Ask them to MERGE, not make a note.

We've done this across-UY merge before and converted two reservations with two different confirmation numbers into a single reservation with a single confirmation number.

Can this be done such that you use the full booking window or do you need to wait until 11m prior to the UY beginning?

Example: on 12/28 book 11/28 - 12/1 online, then call MS to get 12/1 - 12/5 for a full 7-night reservation from 11/28 - 12/5?

Call after you book the first part. You don't need to wait for the 12/1window to open unless you want to book the second part online.

Yes. Book the trip starting at the 11 month for 11/28 and then when MS opened ask them to get all 7 nights. booked.

I too have a Dec. use year & our stay this year starts in Nov. (needed to use up some banked points.) In late December 2021 (11 months out) I booked November 29 & 30, 2022, online, that morning I called MS after they opened & had them add the first 5 days of Dec. to my reservation. Since we are staying more than 7 nights, a few days later in Jan. 2022, I added the last couple of Dec. days online.
