Booking a room at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel

I'm trying to book a room in the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, when I get to the payment screen, I choose International Credit Card. It takes my info but then returns an error saying;

Transaction Failed Exceeded daily payment limit.

Has anyone successfully managed to book a room using a US credit card recently. I managed to do it the year Shanghai opened but haven't been back since.

Update: After talking with the SDR reservation staff, it appears that there's a credit card transaction limit of 10000RMB or approx $1400.

What this means is that some of the Suites just can't be booked (Fantasia, Sorcerer) as their per day cost is over the limit.

No Apple Pay. Only Union Pay, Wechat Pay & AliPay.
