Booking a cruise that doesn't exist yet...?!

I'm part of an organization that is thinking of a group vacation in summer, 2014. Yes, we're planning ahead. :)

Does anyone know if it's possible for a person to set up some sort of an account and pre-pay for a yet-to-exist cruise? I thought this was possible at the resorts.

For the record, I'm sure it's not an ideal option. I'm just wondering if it's an option at all should anyone be interested in doing so.

Thanks in advance!! :thumbsup2

2014 summer dates for the Wonder and the Magic haven't been announced.

OP, I would just put the $$$ in a savings account. Haven't heard of DCL accepting $$$ for a yet-to-be-announced cruise, and why give them your money if they can't give you a date?
