Booking 9 night stay at 11 months - best way to accomplish

Hey all -
I should know this but its been a few years since I have wanted to book at exactly the 11 month (vs 10 month mark).

I need 9 nights at BCV (home resort), 1 bedroom during F&W 2017. What's the best way to accomplish this?

Here are the options as I see them:
1) book 7 days as soon as the window opens and call member services 2 days later to add on 2 nights (I know this would work but I HATE calling member services)
2) wait 2 additional days and then book the entire 9 day stay at once (this would work right?)

are there options that I am missing?

For during Food & Wine, BCV has not had an 11 month issue and you could easily have gotten a 1BR at 10 months out in both 2015 and 2016. However, if you want to do the reserving at exactly 11 months out, then it is as you mention: reserve 7 nights exactly 11 months out from date of arrival and then two days later call MS and add the extra two nights. You could just wait the extra two days until you can do all nine nights at once since I believe you could even wait well beyond that until 10 months out.

For that room just wait 2 days and book all 9 nights online at once.

I would book 7 nights online, wait 2 days call MS to add and modify your existing reservation.
or
You could book 7 nights online, wait 2 days, cancel original reservation, book all 9 online.
or
Wait and book all 9 online.

What I did was book online at 11 months for the 7 nights then I called MS that same day and ask them how to book 3 extra days to that reservation, and they did it for me that same day. I didn't have to wait those three extra days. I don't know if I was lucky and got a MS who had a lot of experience and knew all the ropes,
but I was surprised I was able to get the 3 extra nights right away.

That is not what they are supposed to do - I'm actually surprised they even could.
