Booking 3 separate reservations?

In the near future my family and I would like to book a trip. I am not sure what is the easiest way to book 3 separate reservations (each of us book separately?) In addition, if any changes need to be made, and I want them on all 3 reservations, would each of us have to call separately or can I just call and reference each of their reservations numbers? Not sure how Disney allows this. Especially for any future discounts, linking fast passes together, dining etc.

how big of a group are you talking about? 3 reservations = 3 separate rooms? all at the same resort?

I book for my Mom and me all the time with two separate rooms. We have linked MDE accounts. Also my Son's family books rooms linked to ours on occasion. I have called and made changes to all three linked reservations. You will need to know all the details of all the bookings (reservation numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers for example).

If you want to do it online, you will need to know the name and password for their MDE accounts to go in and make changes there.

I have also booked more than one room in my name - that had both rooms with only one reservation number. That only happened once and it was done on the telephone by a CM. I'm still not sure how that worked, but she said that it would help getting connecting rooms? I felt uneasy about it, but it worked out fine in the end. (prior to MDE days). I don't know if this is advisable, or even possible, anymore.

As long as you have your accounts linked in DME you can book FP+, ADR's etc for everyone.

I've done as many as 5. You have to have one person in charge to get your dining and FP's together. Have fun planning!!

I book two all of the time. I link them on MDE and make all of the plans.

Thank you all so very much for the responses. It helped greatly. It will be 3 separate rooms all at the same resort. So knowing if I link them on MDE, I can be the sole person making any changes etc. Thank you so much
