I am excited....this will be our first non-Disney trip.We will be flying out of Boise on Sat 11/19, and back on 11/26. I used UV and booked a pool view at HRH. We will be getting the 7 nights lodging and 2 adult flex passes, for what would be just the price of lodging when compared to Expedia.
Since "search" only goes back a year, I haven't found out most of the info I am interested in......so anyone who has actually done this timeframe feel free to chime in with advice!
Of course all advice from anyone gratefully accepted !

Our favorite room at HRH is 6090. It is a pool view that also has a good view of the parks. You can call ahead and make a room request--usually 3-4 days ahead of time. If they don't have that one available, ask for one close to it. (407) 503-2000.

What other information are you interested in?

that kind of info is very valuable!

I am also thinking ahead to things like t-day dinner, where to eat and how soon i can make PS (or universal equivilant)

There is a restaurant at the HRH called The Kitchen. DH and I like the place, but it gets mixed reviews on this board. I would check out what they have planned for Thanksgiving dinner. I know they typically do a buffet for Christmas, I would imagine that they do something special for Thanksgiving as well. You can find out from the concierge what special things are planned at the other hotels as well.

The only places I have made advance reservations for (prior to my trip) have been Emeril's two restaurants. Otherwise, I have just decided what to do when I was there. With your room key, you will get priority seating at many of the City Walk restaurants anyway. If there is a wait for a table when you arrive, you show your room key and you get one of the next available tables. I prefer method over having a bunch of reservations I have to plan my days around.

You are going to love it over Tday! It's beautiful and the HRH has an awesome pool, it's heated so I'm sure you'll use it.

Jenn

P.S. With the FOTL lines are going to be a breeze except for those few things that don't have it.
