Booked with Disney visa SPD, but now cheaper on website with SPD

So I booked Monday as a Disney Visa holder.

Today I booked via their site

The only discrepancy I could think of is travel insurance, which I declined in both cases. My original confirmation does not say anything about me purchasing insurance either.

Either way, once the crazy dies down and the wait times to speak to someone are normal I will cancel my first reservation. I'm super stoked about the additional savings, this may mean we add a 3rd park day! This is a post DCL trip, so we're trying to budget accordingly lol.

Cancelled my original reservation today and spoke with a really nice cast member. She figured out that my original reservation was a room only discount with package added, vs the PSD. Aggravating because I stated at least 3 or 4 times that I was looking for the SPD and not the room only when I originally booked.

Oh well, at least I was able to get the discount all straightened out, and saved a few $$ in the process!

I think there was a problem with the way SPD was loaded in their system Monday morning. The cast member I spoke with had to use a different approach to get the right discount after I questioned the first quote she gave me.

I agree there was a system glitch of some sort. I booked first thing Monday and it showed SPD but only gave a RO discount. I did get it fixed though, thankfully.
