DH and I went there for our 10th anniversary. It wasn't as nice as I thought it would be and I was pretty let down by it. I would choose the Bellagio over the Venetian anyday.
Both resorts are beautiful and I'd gladly stay at either one, but I wouldn't pay $600.00 for any hotel. I'm a little biased towards the venetian since their slot machines paid me a $1,500.00 jackpot a few years back!
We've also stayed at Caesars, Paris, Rio and liked each of them as well.
I need to clear something up! LOL~ When I priced standard rooms at both resorts for my stay I got the Venetian at a much higher cost. The agent got it down A LOT! It was still higher then the Bellagio but not by much. Maybe $500 for the entire 5 nights. So I am not and will never pay $600 for a room that I plan to gamble most of the time! LOL! Thanks for all your help and opinions. I'm really looking forward to my first Vegas trip!
We were there about 2 1/4 years ago for Dh's work trip he won/earned.
It was nice but it was a LONGgggggg walk to our room. They were filming a movie that weekend and even when things were not blocked off it was still a long walk to our room. Trying to find the elevators to go up that far (not all go the same place) , trying to find the hall for our room. I think they have 3000 rooms there. Trying to get to the pool was another trip. Not kidding I think it took AT LEAST 15 minutes to get to our room each time.
The room was beautiful!!! Especially nice since it was like our 2nd honeymoon and our first time away without the girls.
The spa there was very nice but of course that was my first time going (freebie from work too). Puck's resturant was very nice too, we actually ate there 2 times that weekend.
We stayed at the Venetian last year for spring break, our original plan was for one night but we ended up liking it so much we added a night to our trip. We got it for $99 the first night and $149 the second (weekend).
We're going back in two and a half weeks, originally we were planning on staying somewhere else and not spending as much, but it's our first trip without kids and we're heading back to the Venetian, I can't imagine staying anywhere else! LOVE IT!
