I finally booked this cruise. Been working on it all weekend. Ended up getting 3 cabins, OGT. This is a bucket list for us. Never been to Aruba and Bonaire so excited for some new ports. My daughter, SIL, 2 granddaughters (18) & (16) will join us, it will be their first Platinum cruise (finally). Also GD (18) BFF (first cruise) too. This will be #33 for us. This would not have happened without the current 30% restricted fare discount. I saved $3000 PER CABIN over the lowest OV cabin price listed. Plus the extra $1000 OBC from Dreams Unlimited will come in handy. Guess you can tell I’m excited. Got my DVC rooms booked for before and after at BWV.

I’m booked on this cruise as well. Can’t wait for it. I’ve also done an 11 night southern back in 2018. By far my favorite type of cruise.

Will there be a captains reception on
The 10. Night ? Any new menus for dinner. ? When will be the formal. Night, semi formal
Night , pirate night ?
We likely won’t know when all those nights will be on until we get to port, since this is a rare itinerary we can’t compare to recent cruises.

As for the Captains reception there should be since its usually on formal night. (We had one on our 7-night in July)

For menus there was a 10 night cruise in 2017 which shows menus and which nights are when. You can find the navigator on the disneycruiselineblog website.

We sailed on the 9-night southern Caribbean (Fantasy) in July this year. Yes, the Captain's reception was on a formal night (with all the photo ops set up), plus a semi-formal night, Pirate Night, and the same type of menus and shows.

we were on the 8 night cruise in October and did have a reception type event for gold and platinum members. It was held in the WD theater. Usually formal night is the first sea day of a cruise. On the 8 night, we had the 7 night menu with one new menu on the first night. No clue on pirate night, it’s usually Tortola port on the eastern cruise, so could be Antigua port. I’m in the fb group, so will post back if I find out anything more. on My Oct/nov b2b there was a captain’s reception on formal night in the atrium. There was also a semi-formal night and a pirate night. This was on the October 8 night eastern cruise which included Antigua

I'm glad you booked this cruise! My DH and I along with our 2 kids will be on this sailing. Our daughter will be 16 and our son 14. This will be our 7th DCL. I am so looking forward to it! We have excursions booked already for Bonaire and Aruba. Still thinking about what we will do in Antigua and St. Thomas. Oh and we will also be at Boardwalk for 5 nights prior. What are the odds lol!

Hi Sharon. I booked Around Aruba tours. 4 hour tour with the UTV's. And in Bonaire I booked the Woodwind snorkle boat tour. I looked up a few excursions on viator, trip advisor, and cruise message boards then went from there based on reviews.

Bonaire snorkeling is amazing. The water surrounding the island is a marine sanctuary and visibility is usually stellar.

We were on Antigua last November and had a private tour with Ted Martin (via Tours by Locals) ... it was amazing! I highly recommend him. His cell is 12687263148 ('+' required if you call from a cell phone)

Here is the tour we took:
