Booked site! Rented trailer! Yay! Now questions:

Staying March 27-31, premium site. Myself, DW, DS 8, DD 3, Grandma and Grandpa. Renting a monstrous 44’ trailer mainly to make sure Grandparents are comfy.
Super excited as FW is my wife and son’s favourite resort not just at WDW but anywhere in the world (I’m a huge fan of FW but my fave is still AKL). Have previously stayed in a cabin.

Knowing my grandparents preferences is there any loop for premium sites that is actually generally quieter than others?

My son is really keen on fishing but he has had some really bad luck every time we’ve gone. He puts in the time, stays still when needed but has never caught anything bigger than a sardine size. If we go fishing at FW will our chances be good?

Am debating about doing Hoop Dee Doo. How late can we leave it to buy tickets?

I don’t know much about fishing but i’m sure someone else can comment about that.

For HDDR, I would book as soon as you decide you want to do it. Your trip is during a busy season so it may get booked up. Having a little flexibility in dates and show times may help though.

As for a quiet premium loop, I think 1100 is quiet but it’s also further away from the marina/settlement area. It’s a little bit of a walk to the Meadows/pool area but not too far.

I second 1100 loop. As for fishing, take DS to the dock behind the Meadow store. Use cut up pieces of hot dogs for bait. We have caught some huge catfish there with hot dogs.

Congratulations ! The Fort is a great place. Glad to hear the Grandparents are getting the master bedroom to sleep in so they are comfy. We have found 1100 to be quiet when we stayed, and it will handle a trailer as short as ours with no problems.
HDDR is a great show, but book as soon as possible if you want to go, especially is you are considering the 6pm show.

Booked HDDR. Saw that section 1 already sold out for a number of shows. Cancellation policy is pretty generous so if some folks can’t make it that’ll be fine.

Will request 1100 loop. Sounds perfect. We will have a golf cart so distances should not matter.

And will save some hot dogs for fishing. Ty everyone!

Now the hard part; waiting to go.

Its hard to say one loop is quieter than another. You may get lucky and have quiet neighbors or have the Griswald family that hoots and hollers half the night. We have never had any problems with noise at any site, they all have been great.
