Hey to all.
Well for our upcoming March trip we arrive in the p.m. so our first day of parks and meals will be Thursday March 6th.
We planned on going to M.k for early opening that day....stay till after lunch and go to the hotel for a swim/breather after lunch. We have an ADR for SCI-FI that night at 6pm but with MGM closing at 7pm we wouldn't have ANY time for any rides just dinner and back to the resort. I think the kids will all be dissappointed to go to mgm and not get to do any rides...specifically star tours (we have been to disney before but the others with us haven't)....
My thought now is seeing as there are no extra hours anywhere that night and MK and MGM both close at 7 maybe we should get an ADR for KONA CAFE and then just head back to the hotel for an early night after our first real disney day.
THe only issue with going to Kona is having to take the bus to MK and then the monorail to get there and back. When we were there last weekend we did that to get to Kona and then after we took the bus to DD and then another bus back because it was closing time at Mk.
Question.....do you think Sci Fi is overrated.
We loved Kona and really want to do it but are trying to figure out when.

suggestions?

I HATED it. The restaurant was 75% empty, and they put us in the back of a full car next right next to the kitchen. And the lady in front of me had waist length hair. I felt like my burger was fur-coated.

But, that's just my experience. We haven't been back. I know others enjoy it. We stuck to burgers, fries and milkshakes and it was OK.
