Wow,

Don't you just love the last minute vacation? So I said, okay, if there is a studio available for May 20-24 we'll just go!

Saratoga Springs available! Just booked May 21-24 and we're waitlisted for the 20th!


It's great when things just fall into place like that.

Even if the 20th doesn't come through we plan on visiting friends in Melbourne just about 45 minute drive away and we could crash there!

Enjoy your visit! May is a lovely time to visit WDW. Epcot's Flower and Garden Show is wonderful! There are some gorgeous things to see and fragrances to experience!

Last week my DH surprised me with a week in WDW!! He's the BEST!
We leave in 1 week---on my birthday!
We've never stayed at SSR before, so it will be a nice surprise. No kids! One week

To anyone going to SSR soon, one thing I forgot to add in my SSR report is:

Not only do the grounds look beautiful, but they SMELL fantastic! Between the jasmine, magnolias, and whatever other scented plants are in bloom, the air is perfumed! It's heavenly .

So get those noses ready................

You are so right, just returned and the Jasmine is in the air everywhere. My wife is now planting it at the house. Have a great trip OP

We've never stayed at SSR before. We have stayed at all the other resorts except AKL. I can't wait! I've been reading the boards for all the tips--you have all been a great help. I have found that each of the resorts have plusses and minuses, there is no perfect place----that's what makes the discovery all the more fun. We have eated at Market Place several times---but staying at SSR will probably give us a whole new view of what there is for us.
It sounds like SSR is a flower show of it's own.....I can't wait!!! 6 days and we'll be enjoying all the fun and the sun!
