Booked our August Universal/Disney trip today One night at Loews Royal Pacific, saved about $25 by asking if they gave a AAA discount. Had a PIN code for our five nights at Pop Century, and used the $20 Disney GC I got from cashing in my Disney Movie Rewards points last year toward the deposit. Our ADR date is coming up soon so need to work on restaurant choices now!

Congrats! It always feels good to have everything actually booked and money down! We are going again in June 2014 and I am just looking around, but cant wait until I have solid plans!

We're mostly booked for our Aug trip too!

2 Nights HRH at Universal. Already booked hotel with a nice discount and had a friend buy Costco tickets for a discount!
Then 3 nights offsite. Still not sure what we're doing for this part of it.
Then 5 nights Beach Club. Always wanted to stay here so we're doing it by saving money and not buying park tickets (using old non-expires that we have)

Don't have airfare yet, hoping for good rental car code and not 100% sure of that offsite choice...but other than that good to go!

We're at the end of Aug - maybe we'll see you there!

We are going in August too! I can't wait to get to making the reservations. I can't decide if I should buy the tickets from UT or directly from disney....hmmm...I am getting excited and it is a little less than 6 months away. Darn if I am eating and sleeping Disney.

It's fun and overwhelming at the same time, isn't it? I bought our tickets through Disney, still need to buy Universal and La Nouba tickets. We are going to wait on Seaworld in case we decide we'd rather skip that and do more Disney that last day (we are planning on forgoing Animal Kingdom this time to make time for Seaworld even though we love the Safari and Lion King show). Our ADR date is 2/20 and we have finally decided on places to eat, hope I can get all the times/days we want.

Have to say, I don't blame your DH. Last time we went, it was with my sister and her family; their youngest was 14 months at the time. The spent a lot of time at the resort because it was sensory overload for my nephew. The first time we took the kids, our younger DS was 5 1/2 years old and even then, we had our share of meltdowns. After the first day, we realized that we really needed a stroller for him, and after that it was smoother sailing.
