For December 2006; Leaving from Buffalo at 6:10am...so we have to leave from Kitchener at some ungodly hour in the morning. Arrive in Atlanta at 8am, could have got the connection 45 minutes later for Orlando, but opted for the 10:09 to Orlando incase there is a delay leaving Buffalo. Grand total for 4 was $887 US. Saved about $1000.00 flying this way instead of WestJet or AC.

Have you thought about staying overnight in Buffalo before you fly out? Many hotels will park your car while you're away and will shuttle you to the airport. It may save the worry of getting caught in bad weather driving down hours before your flight. . . it is winter after all.

ands I think that it's a great idea, however my dh will be inaugurated to city council (provided he wins) and the inauguration is the night before, so we won't be home till after 8pm. So we figured that we might as well jsut stay at home for the night instead of leavinga t 8 or 9pm to get to Buffalo. I wish that we could go the night before though.

thats awesome holly! whoohooo! too bad that buffalo is just too far for us to drive, we would have saved $ too

Hey doll, I agree with the other poster; Even if M is inaugurated, I would pack up after and head out. Its better while you are already awake, rather than go home, changed, packed, load up car, last minute things for the boys, you will only sleep a few hours at best and will be very tired!

At least you have time, heck the night before if you wanted to drive down, you still could, just call a hotel that night to make sure that they can accommodate the car and you in a room! that can always be done last minute. :O)

and we better be meeting up that evening missy!

Holly,

Ditto... and it is great to see you online. I just talked to Mike about a month ago after not chatting or seen him for a long time. I used to Referee hockey with him for many years!

We looked at AirTran (if you see my other threat lower), but we are headed out on the 23rd and back on the 31st, I don;t think we have couldn't have picked a more expensive time! We ended up booking with United out and US Air back for CAD$1,300 via Expedia.

What dates will you be there?

i live in kitchener and we fly southwest leave here at 330 am and get ther about 530 ish we precheck in on line 24 hours in advance and get A boaring passes .we did stay overnight in amherst at motel 6 2 times its $50.00 for the night that was good we got to sleep in then we stayed at the days in across from the airport that was great but it $110.00 for the night with parking for the week so that was ok to. have a good trip im going sept 30 tooct 6 we got the ding rate for $35.00 each way .

Three Kitchenerites.... err, Kitchenonians... ah, Kitcheneese... in one thread! WOW!

The Hilton Garden Inn Across the road from BUF is great! We have stayed twice and would stay anyday again. It opened last November I think.

I just booked Buf to MCO for Feb 3. $844 US for 4 on direct flights on Trans Air. I did not want to worry about delays on connections, so thought that was a good price. Have never left from Buffalo before, lets just hope we do not have border dalays. It took 2 hours a couple of weekends ago on the Queenston Bridge. What are the best airport parking lots?

Thanks
