Kristie-I would definitely stay away from the Quality Inn (or whatever it is now called) on 1273 Chili Avenue-seedy place. There is a Fairfield Inn that is literally right inside the airport grounds, not sure how quiet it would be but would certainly be convenient.
There is a Marriott that is is less than 10 mins away, I believe is is called the Rochester Airport Marriott on Ridge Road. There is Holiday Inn that is very close to the airport and has been recently renovated.
As far as wings, well you might want to stop in Buffalo for those on your way as we don't have any outstanding places right nearby. For my money I'd take wings from Duffs (in Buffalo at Sheridan Drive & Millersport Hgwy intersections) over most other places. It is right off the expressway as you'd be heading to Rochester (if you are coming from the NF area). The Hooters in Rochester has recently closed, or so I read in the paper so your DH is out of luck, lol!
