Booked on Cruise, when will we get boarding details etc?

We are booked on the Disney 7 day Western Caribean in April, we received our vacation club notification ages ago & were wondering when we will receive all the 'official' documentation. Things like departure times, boarding, car parking. Maybe the conformation letter we received is all we need. Has anyone else booked the cruise through the vacation club & tell us what to expect.

You should expect to receive your cruise documents about 2 weeks prior to sailing.

I just realised that we will be in Florida 10 days before we sail, is there a chance we could miss our documents, if they send themto our home address we wont be there.

Just keep in touch with DVC starting about 1 month prior to sailing to see when your documents are sent to you. If it's starting to get close to you leaving for Florida, contact DVC and they can have DCL send them to an alternate address, or arrange for port pick-up.
