Booked Inventions today!!

I rang up today and made reservations for dinner at Inventions on my birthday! I'm so happy! I can't stop smiling, so cheesy but I'm just so excited. I haven't made reservations anywhere else yet but I just really wanted a character meal, and to have it at Inventions will be amazing. Will be the best birthday ever. Bring on the 30th!

My ds had his 6th birthday here in 2010 and I celebrated my 40th there last year, I couldnt think of a better place

Sounds great! I've been looking to book this for DD 18th next March and had originally thought of the Cali Grill, but the menu choices there are a bit strange so reconsidered!

Don't forget that the menu will change again in November for the CG so you never know what they might be offering when you go

Thanks for that, I didn't know how often they change the menu. I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to make reservations until mid January (60 days I believe??) so would have plenty of time to check it out.

Menus are changed normally twice a year April and November - when the new season starts - This year CG menu was changed in June as their old chef came back after a couple of years away and it's all changed for the better (hopefully)

Reservations are 60 days out for DLP but there won't be the mad rush in March that you get in the high season and CG is normally pretty under booked

It was amazing! The CM's were lovely (about ten of them came out of their way to wish me a happy birthday!) and they sat us away from the buffet as requested so we got amazing window seats, the food was delicious, and the characters spent a long time with us! We had Goofy, Gepetto and Perla come to say hello and I saw Mickey and Donald but they didn't get around to us. Goofy was the best, spent ages with us! So worth the money. Enjoy!
