Booked Hard Rock yesterday!

very excited....it'll be nice to leave Disney and instead of being all depressed that the vacation is over we have two great days to look forward to at Universal.

My DD is 5 and I'm hoping she can ride most of the stuff. Especially Spider Man!!

I booked Hard Rock yesterday too!

We are going to a beach hotel in Ft Lauderdale from March 25-30 (Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa) and then we are driving to Orlando (3 hours) for 2 days at Hard Rock Hotel from March 30 to April 1. The Hard Rock Hotel looks fabulous and I love the Hotel California theme.

We have only been to WDW so are excited to try Universal. Our kids will be 7 and 4. We can not wait!

We are going to WDW in July so we will still get our Disney fix this year!

Good for both of you.

Keep the e-mail confirmation they sent you in a "saved" folder.
Check your reservation a month before your trip to make sure it is still on file.
And then check again a few days before.
If you see a refund on your credit card, that means they cancelled your reservation, and you need to call them. Don't mean to scare you or anything, but they "lost" my reservation and I had to call a few times before they re-instated it.

Yeah, Disney did that to me too when I was staying at POR Riverside, they cancelled my reservation without me knowing it! I only found out about a week before my trip! I will definitely check this time well in advance and I always print out my reservation confirmation and bring it with me.

You are going to have so so much fun!!! We did the same, and to be honest, I actually enjoyed Universal better than disney. Have a wonderful time! We loved hard rock.

And spiderman is my new favorite ride! It ROCKS!

in my last 15 trips to orlando, i have done both parks.

started out with disney and made universal my icing on the cake !!

have to do it that way, universal spoils me........

i stay on site and love the short hop to the parks and city walk.
it beats spending 40 minutes on a bus going from a hotel to a park like at disney.

i completely and totally love all the rides and attractions universal has to offer.
