Booked For May 2008

The DW and I have booked the Comfort Inn Universal for 5 days in May. We are meeting the DSIL and DBIL and they have rented a car for the week, which we will have access to as well.
I am looking for suggestions for places to eat that are well cheap, in paticular cheap buffet's.
I am also looking for inside info on places to shop for discounted Disney item's and outlet malls.
This is our first time staying outside Disney and will be going to Magic Kingdom and MGM Studio's during the stay, as well as Universal Studio's.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Ponderosa has a cheap buffet. They also have coupons in all the free vacation guides you can get around Orlando at the stores. We found some in the airport one time.
We also love Golden Corral. Maybe you could get coupons for that on their website?
