booked for febuary 05

I am finally coming to disney with hubby and three kids 12,10,5 for the first time. We are booked for a week at Fort Wilderness. Does anybody have any good or bad experiences to share? Also what about the weather? Thank you

I dont' know alot about Fort Wilderness but we are having a Disney chat tomorrow night on how to save in Disney and would love to have you come......we will post a link and if you have time ...topic Disney is every Tuesday and Wednesday nights and we do answer questions on the other evenings too.......again welcome to the Dis

The cabins are great. You can put the kids in the bedroom and have the murphy bed in the living room all to yourselves. We would get up before the kids, get showered and have a light breakfast. It made starting the day so much more peaceful! We didn't have much chance to do any activites at FW. Maybe others can comment on that. We did do the Hoop De Doo and loved it.
We'll be at AKL on 2/9 and we, too, are a little concerned about the weather. I'm guessing we'll have cool mornings. But, I've been told the highs could be anywhere from 60's to upper 70's. It makes packing a little more of a challenge but my plan is to check the forecast about a week ahead of time to give me some range. I know the weather is changeable but at least it'll give some idea.

Well we get back 1/28 which is not long before you leave, so i will be sure to post about the weather, and crowds. I am dying to stay in FW in one of the cabins! We will be in a 1 bedroom at OKw, but the Fort Wilderness Cabins look so neat! You can pull your car right up to your cabin, the murphy bed is so neat too! i think you will love it! It is so nice and close to MK and I hear Trails End Buffeteria is very good and the best value on property!
