YAY, I just got my member # yesterday and this morning booked 2 vacations for next year.
I got a 1BR at BWV in May and a 1 BR for BCV in Sep (Food & Wine).


And it was so easy!!

The CM at MS was so helpful, she knew exactly how to bank my points for me so I was usin' 'em right. My contract had 50 pts banked from '07 'n then I had '08 pts to use.

Wait til you get your confirmation letter!! I stick ours on the front of the fridge with one of my WDW magnets. Each time I pass by it, I mentally count down the days until our trip. We've got HHI coming up in March and AKL in June.

Oh hell, I'm makin' my list of what I need to pack now!

Here's the crazy story:

I took my handicapped brother to Disney back on '06, big blowout coz I'd been promisin' him I'd take him for a few years 'n he got to doggin' me about it. I spent some bucks because in my mind we were only doin' it once. We stayed in the tower at the Contemporary MK view, it was great, but we did everything commando style, came home beat up, but in my mind it was done, never to return.

Last year a friend invited us to her DVC at Saratoga Springs, it was GREAT!! It's so laid back 'n relaxin'.

This year, I bought in coz I love that there's so much more to WDW than just the parks. And the DVC opens up the options so much wider.

Hey, have a great time at HH, I'm gonna plan that one too one day.

Know what ya mean Uncle !! Owning DVC really takes the pressure off !!

It really does give you the opportunity to stop and smell the roses and some of our best memories since owning have been non-park experiences !

Noticed one of your trips is at BWV 1 bedroom; fyi we stayed in a great standard view 1BR at BWV in July (3121 dedicated 1BR with double connected balcony) that was located at far end of villas building close to canal and lawn area where the walking path runs parallel along canal by main entrance road & bridge with the ornate lights...we really liked the location because lawn is pretty wide there and its got a nice view of canal (& resident ducks!!) and not too much parking area is visible at all, also it was adjacent to stairwell that was much more convenient way then trekking through the hallways to the elevators to get to villas quiet pool / community hall thru 1 door and parking lot / bus stop thru 2nd adjacent door at bottom of stairs.
