Cant believe it we are booked !
Only thing is we have booked the first 10 days at POR with dining and tickets but dont know where to stay for another 7 days after to do non Disney parks.

Looking at so far Fairfield Inn at Seaworld , Embaay Suites (Jamiaca ct) Doubletree at Seaworld.

Anyone else think of a half decent hotel which will take 5? (2a,15,9,3)
Needs to be on/near idrive with shuttles to Universal or easy lynx/i trolley route!

We stayed at Holiday Inn maingate by Universal and was really impressed with the space and proximity to Universal. They did advertise a free shuttle service to Seaworld although we never used it!!

We had a 2 bed suite hich easily accomadated us 6 and I never felt claustraphobic at all.

HTH x

i AGREE... lOVELY HOTEL.. WE STAY HERE EVERYTIME..:cool1:

hotel offer free transfere to universal however we like a early morning walk after breakfast at ponderosa on the way.. takes about 10-20 mins depending on how much you eat..hahah

There is a trolley stop right outside hotel that goes to seaworld or even the buses go past seaworld and universal..:thumbsup2

We've stayed at DoubleTree SeaWorld, it's a lovely hotel, nice rooms, and a 5 min walk to SeaWorld.

It does have free shuttles that stop at other hotels, but these are not frequent. Would be good if you had a car because there is nothing in the immediate area except SeaWorld, it's a short cab ride to get to the nearest populated bit of Idrive or a stop on the Itrolley. The trolley/bus stop is right outside the hotel. We did find the location a bit of a pain, but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves.

There is a supermarket a 10 min walk away and an Ihop in the same area.

We found that it is a quiet hotel, there were no children staying when we were there, and the pools were always very quiet, which isn't a bad thing it has a very chilled out atmosphere. The only thing I think they could improve on is the pools because they are a bit small, but fine for more grown up children.

dont know why it does ?? .. i think its a great hotel .. really good location, nice rooms, two outside pools .. perosnally i love this hotel

I'm looking at the Fairfield Inn for a Sea World/Busch part of our trip in November, seems to be a fantastic deal on a package through Sea World, 3 nights at the Fairfield, tix for Sea World and Busch for the entire stay, "Eat for Free All Day" at both parks each day and front of the line passes for Sea World from the hotel, for £160 each! That sounds pretty great to me. You might be able to get a good deal with a package through universal as well.
