Booked at WL want to upgrade to a Monorail resort- Possible?

We are booked for the first part of December at WL. But would love to be able to move to a Monorail resort.

Any chance to find a code that would allow us to do this for about the same we are paying at WL?

I got a pin code yesterday but it is very limited and only covers a few days of our trip.

Based on last year, start watching around August as there was one round of codes that came out mid-August for stays including December dates, then another round of codes came out around September 27 that also included December stays:

Check ins between 9/30/07-12/23/07 package discounts for Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders became available on 8/13/07, exp 9/26/07

Check ins between 9/30/07-12/23/07 Annual Passholder room-only rates became available on 8/15/07, exp 12/23/07

I don't know what rate you have now at the WL, but maybe a CR Wing room might be close with a good code. But remember when and if those codes come out again this year, your WL rate would also probably go down, and then it will be hard to leave that res!

Even if the code can reduce our price at WL, I'd still like to move to a monorail resort. With a 4 yo daughter, we plan on spending most time in MK. The monorail would be great for that!

So where do I look for these codes?

I would call with the code you already have and tell them you want to switch to a monorail resort. Then see what they can do. Maybe if you check in during those dates they will honor it for the whole time. It's worth a try...and if they won't, see what the price difference is for the few days with the code. Maybe it will be worth the switch.
